NAGPUR: Defending champion Pranav Lokhande in the men's singles and Priyanka Pillay in the ladies' singles were given best billings in the Baidyanath Junior and Senior District Badminton Championship which will be held from June 25 to 30 at the Subhedar Hall.

The six-day competition, composed by the Nagpur District Badminton Association, will fill in as the choice preliminaries for the imminent State Badminton Championships.
The competition has evoked great reaction with 432 sections from 332 players participating in it. The U-13 and U-15 age bunches players are not playing in the area competition as they will contend in the state sub-junior meet slated to be held in Mumbai amid a similar period.
